Una piovra coi baffi (An octopus with a mustache)

In via Lev Tolstoj c'è un infreddolito mostro marino, con un cappellino di lana in testa, che sta tracannando un paio di bottiglie di rum, cosa che probabilmente gli causa qualche delirio e tremore. Alle sue spalle, si fa per dire, una grande nuvola bianca che potrebbe essere la schiuma prodotta da un'enorme onda.

Il polpo, o la piovra simboleggiano il timore di essere stritolati o trattenuti da persone che ci vogliono imporre la loro volontà, ma questo mostro marino può essere visto anche come l'incapacità di gestire situazioni diverse e contrastanti. Questi grandi molluschi possono anche avere il significato di qualcosa con cui esprimiamo la nostra avidità e visto che in questo graffito viene rappresentato un essere marino con delle bottiglie nei tentacoli, direi che siamo proprio di fronte al caso in cui qualcuno sta per essere sopraffatto (la grande onda) dai propri vizi, o debolezze. I baffi, assurdi e ridicoli su una piovra, potrebbero parlarci della volontà del soggetto di mascherarsi di fronte a questi problemi e nel non volerli riconoscere in nessun modo. Eventualità comprovata anche dalla presenza di una specie di fiore nel terzo occhio che significa come il soggetto trascuri e nasconda le proprie capacità e i propri valori positivi per continuare ad essere preda dei propri difetti.

Ovviamente, il cappellino significa che il soggetto è una "testa calda".

Non so chi sia l'autore di questo simpatico disegno, ma è probabile che con la sua opera egli ci parli di se stesso in un modo inconscio, ma molto esplicito.

Piovra e lupo

Sicuramente, il lupo alle spalle della piovra è di un altro street-artist, ma anche questo simbolo non fa che rafforzare il significato del quadro d'insieme che vediamo.

Trovarsi di fronte a questa visione può far suscitare una reazione d'identificazione a chi sente di avere questo tipo di problematiche e magari potrebbe far scattare una reazione positiva per cercare di liberarsi dai tentacoli dei propri eccessi.

Con la bava alla bocca

Il soggetto soffre in questa situazione e vorrebbe elevarsi ad uno stato di coscienza che gli consenta di vedersi com'è realmente, cosa che può procurare ulteriori disordini e fastidi. La cosa interessante è che in questa visione s'intravede un benessere (il fiore luminoso) che non si riesce a raggiungere.

La simbologia utilizzata dagli esseri umani è la stessa in quasi tutte le culture, anche per chi è all'oscuro dei miti classici, perché l'uomo è sempre mosso dagli stessi sentimenti, desideri e paure, fin da quando ha messo piede su questa Terra.

Molti ragazzi che si esprimono con immagini simboliche (graffiti) tendono a sminuire l'importanza delle loro opere e quando si chiede loro che cosa stanno disegnando o che cosa significa il loro lavoro, essi provano a sviare l'attenzione dell'osservatore dicendo che il graffito non vuol dire niente di particolare, ha il significato che gli dai tu, ma questo non è vero perché i simboli hanno un significato comune, anche se possono emergere a livello inconscio. E proprio nei momenti di coscienza alterata o di profonda concentrazione, la mente umana si ricongiunge alla storia dell'uomo e pesca nella sua millenaria storia le figure a cui ha sempre fatto riferimento, fin da quando si esprimeva proprio con i graffiti sulla roccia, all'interno delle caverne nelle quali trovava rifugio dai predatori notturni.
